Spring time in California

Guys, this Spring season I went almond blossom hunting and playing in the snow in Lake Tahoe. Thank you to River Island for always making sure I’m in style for all occasions.

Outfit 1: Chasing Almond blossoms

I’ve been wanting and waiting to see these almond blossom orchards for the last year. But the season is quite short only a few weeks in mid-Feb to early March. Luckily I was about to find them during our trip to Lake Tahoe. It’s so magical to see row after row of these beautiful pink and white blossoms. So, of course, what’s more, perfect to wear than this River island cream frill bardot maxi dress. With the cheesecloth fabric, it’s so soft and lights it will be perfect for all Spring and Summer months. Wanna find these orchards for yourself? These almond orchards are in the Vacaville to Woodland area; we found these off of the Dixon exit on 680.

I wore this River Island Green glitter knit frill bardot crop top with a pair of palazzo pants for our dinner at NorthStar Yamakai Fish & Sushi restaurant. So If you’re ever in the area, it’s totally worth it to check it out. The fish and everything was so fresh and delicious. Since both Simon and I sushi fanatic, we literally ordered almost everything on the menu.

Outfit 2: Weekend vibes

Ok, seriously but everyone needs this outfit from River Island especially this Weekend Vibes roller crew neck sweater. I’ve been wearing this sweater every chance I get, it’s quite comfy, and everyone seems to love it. For more casual weekend vibes I decided to pair with this beige tweed mini skirt with these rose gold metallic glitter lace-up trainer sneakers.

Outfit 3: Girly in blush and lace

This outfit River Island pieces got me at cut-out and lace; I love pieces with intricate details. I’m always a girly girl when it comes to picking out clothes. But this light pink cut out cropped long sleeves got a little of the girly touch and edgy feel, and I love it. To make it extra girly, I wore it with this white lace pencil skirt and Gold ombre glitter knot front pumps.

Thank you, River Island for sponsoring this post.

To be honest, whats in right now isn;t very attractive. But every girly girl needs a full, knee length skirt, and/ or a pleated tennis skirt, a crisp white shirt, a nice sweater set (A tank top sort of sweater with matching cardigan) and a nice a line dress. I personally like peter pan collars, but not everyone does. Bateau necklines are girly, too. Remember that the point of girlyness is sweetness, not sexiness or sluttiness. Keep yourself covered and you will be seen as innocent and lovely. Dont wear overly short skirts or dresses, belly shirts, or low cut tops. Girly girls who watch their hemlines grow up into classy, beautiful young women Google Grace Kelly, Jackie Kennedy, and Audrey Hepburn. THey were wonderful examples of modest femeninity.
